Just got a new Motherboard which has on board gfx and ubuntu isnt happy about it.

Dunno what else to post on here cos i dont anything about the problem. If i can provide any more information to help you come up with a solution/advice then let me know.

Cheers
Joe

[edit] I did try "sudo dpkg-reconfigure xserver-xorg" and going through the questions but I didnt really know if what i was doing was right anyways.[/edit]

Default Re: New Motherboard with ubuntu

Unfortunately-- though Ubuntu is a great OS --it is LINUX-- which makes drivers a problem for newer gear-- are you using a video-card-- or the onboard video adapter ?
