Default [Resolved] Need Printer Driver - HELP!
Just loaded Freespire and can't get printer to operate - have an Epson ActionLaser 1500, and the only printer listed when I click ADD PRINTER is an ActionLaser 1100 - when I try to test, I continue to get an error message - so, assume I need the 1500 driver - but all my searches show driver only for Windows!
FYI - any and all help is greatly appreciated - basically a Linux newbie and that is why I went with Freespire

Hi C5

Have you already had a look here?
LinuxPrinting.org Epson ActionLaser 1100 listing
If that does not work then all I can suggest is that Linux does not support that printer.

just a follow-up

appears that when I tried to select correct printer, the one I thought was correct would not connect - so, I chose the "generic" printer and am now happily printing
