Question [Pending] Switch Question, Emulation

So, for the longest time I've been wanting to make a full switch to linux. The only problem is that I have a large collection of windows games. Is there a way that I can run the games at almost the same speed as they would nativly in windows? I've had it installed on a dual-boot system, but I really want to make the full switch, this is just the only problem. Any help would be appreciated.

Well...i'm not sure for linux, but Windows has a few different virtual "server" applications...which i'd suggest you use that instead

Load windows, load the virtual software, load linux as an image...
then you have the full speed for games in windows - and do all your day - day stuff in linux...it should run at the same speed...

But someone with more linux experience may know a bit more.
