I appreciate all your help with my linux problems but i reverted to ubuntu yesterday. I prefer things to be simple and to me fedora is anything but that.
In ubuntu i`ve managed to install all the things i couldnt on fedora and it was a lot simpler.
Linux for humans indeed. :-)
Only thing is Gaim keeps breaking, any idea why that is?
I had the same problem in fedora but when i updated it it worked fine. The update in ubuntu just gave me a message telling me it was already up to date. aMSN looks ugly :-(

Simultaneously I have got rid of another problem I had before when using find:
