Hey Spellbyte,

Not familiar with Kmail. But if they are asking you to contact them, I would imagine this is not uncommon. Sounds silly, but have you contacted them as instructed?

sorry for not mentioning this earlier but i have found out why this is bringing this message up, it's to do with the fact that i am opening Kmail from the icon i placed the shortcut bar. there are a few steps that can fix this but i will post them tomorrow when my head is a bit less sleep induced.

thanks for the reply though LGW

Thanks for letting us know Spellbyte. Oh, for the sake of others reading this in the future, could you please be more specific by what you meant here

it's to do with the fact that i am opening Kmail from the icon i placed the shortcut bar.
I'm not sure I know what you meant. LOL. Pleasant dreams.

We look forward to your next post.

my apologies for such a vague description. but here goes

I had placed a shortcut for Kmail into the linux equivalent of "quick launch" and whenever i opened Kmail from the quick launch button, it opened Kmail with the above Error message. but if I was to open Kmail from the original Shortcut in the start menu then everything was fine.

I did find a solution to this problem buyt there have been so many problems with my PC lately that i have lost the bookmark to the page and when i google it now i can't seem to find it anywhere.

rest assured when i find it again this will be my first stop

Thanks Spellbyte,

That was MUCH better, and easier to understand. We'll look forward to your post.
