Default Outlook Import Destination Folder List Blank

Greetings. I need to add onto my calendar multiple recurrences of an appointment that occur at irregular intervals. I thought the easier way to put these on my Outlook 2003 SP3 calendar would be to create an Excel file and import the file into Outlook. When I go through the import process, everything is fine until I get to the screen where I am supposed to select the destination folder, There are no choices available - it's blank. My only options are 'back' or 'cancel'. This is VERY frustrating. Can someone tell me how I can resolve this problem?

Thanks,
Jeff

Before you even select IMPORT, what is highlighted in your Outlook shortcut bar?

If I select CALENDAR, then my Destination is populated with the calendar options.

Thanks for your interest DCi. To be clear, you are referring to the 'Folder List', right?

I have tried making sure that 'calendar' was selected and alternatively that something other than 'calendar' was selected. I received the same results every time.
