Office Software - Corrupt Word document after undelete posted in the Software forums; Ok, update. all files are corrupted and will not open. (the ones I tryed to open were not deleted so naturaly they worked) help please...

Ok, update.
all files are corrupted and will not open. (the ones I tryed to open were not deleted so naturaly they worked)

I'll open a new topic because it looks all filea are damaged and it just doesn't apply to words files.

Please try system restore.

Also please try right click on the document and choose "open with" try diffrent programs such as note pad,rich text document,word viewer.You have a few software there to try and open these files.

It is not a language problem it is the program you are using to open them with.

Example:To open a document made in office but use note pad to open it could appear mudled like the file you posted.

It is not arabic or another foriegn language but rather the opening with wrong software.

even normal txt's look funny with notepad
jpgs dont open
pdfs neither
i've tryed every programm i got

Hey All,

@ Fs,

Try right clicking on one of the Word documents that has become corrupted, choose Copy. Then Paste and rename the document. This sometimes allows you to recover corrupted Word and Excel files.
