I just had to format and re-install everything but i cant get Word exactley how it was.

When i insert a picture i used to be able to drag it left to right or up and down, ie increasing/decreasing the size. When i did this it smoothley followed the curser allowing me to make small changes to its size.

Now ive re-installed office 2003 pro, when i try to increase the size it seems to jump a couple of mm at a time and therefore not allowing me to get the exact size im aiming for.

Ive looked through options and its set for mm but i cant figure how to get it how it used to be.

I hope ive explained ok and would much appreciate any help.

Hello Paul,

By default, your images will "Snap to grid" all edges and movement on the screen. You'll need to turn this off:

- Go to View, Toolbars followed by Customize.
- Under the category of "Drawing", scroll down on the right until you see an item called "Grid".
- Drag the grid icon to anywhere on your current toolbar at the top of the screen.
- When you click on the grid icon, you will see "Snap objects to grid" ticked. Untick, and all your problems will disappear.
