Question [Answered] Sound in MS Power Point Slideshow

Hi,
I have created a slideshow in MS Office Power Point 2003 and would like to add some background music. I have the music in MP3, WMA and WAV format files on hard disk and can assign the music as background to a single slide, without a problem. However, when the slide changes, the music stops and if I assign the same music to the next slide, it just starts at the beginning again.

What I want to do is start the music with the first slide and let it continue, without interruption, through the whole slide show and then stop after the last slide has 'timed out'. I'm using the automatic slide change option with a five second display interval for each slide.
I would wish the music to be embedded with the slideshow, so that if I email the slideshow, it will run as normal, on the recipient's PC - assuming they also have Power Point installed of course

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Any help would be much appreciated

Thank You

Try this tutorial (you can skip step1 of course): How to add music to your PowerPoint presentations
