Okay, I installed Microsoft Office 2003 on my computer, and it's really starting to make me crazy. First and foremost, I am the computer administrator, and I am the one who installed the software (I even did that allusers=3 thing, and that didn't work), but in Word (and all the other programs) kept telling me that Office was not installed on my profile (even though, duh, I was the one who installed them for Christ's sake) while the Office programs work on all the other profiles just fine. To fix this, I opened every program in a dummy administrator profile, and copied the registry over. That worked, and allowed me to open the programs. However, my profile is still refusing to open VBA (Visual Basic for Applicants) saying that the person who installed the software did not install it, and thus stopping me from using Macros, while still letting the minion profiles open VBA and use Macros just fine! I tried to copy the registry for VBA (after opening it up in the dummy profile) onto my profile, but nothing changes. The same happens with spell check too.

The macro security setting is on low.

The error is: "The function you are attempting to run contains macros or content that requires macro language support. When the software was installed, you (or your administrator) chose not to install support for macros or controls."

This is wrong, because the installation was a complete install, and macros work for the minions.

Have you tired uninstalling office and reinstalling it. Installing VB support is optional in some versions of Office make sure it is selected in the reintalled version.

Yes. Three times, in fact. But if VB hadn't been installed in the first place, how could it be working on the other profiles. It's just mine that's retarded.

That didn't work either. Why does my computer hate my profile, why!?

Login as and administrator and under the c:\documents and settings folder delete the problem users folder. Login as the problem user this will recreate the folder under c:\documents and settings. log back out and login as administrator and copy the contents of a user folder from c:\documents and settings that you know is working in to the new probelm users folder. Log out and log back in as the problem user. Did that work?

But I've solved my own problem. I deleted my old account and made a new one, and kept the old files.
