Hi Subzer051,

To the best of my knowledge, the files stored on an iPod are in m4a format (from iTunes?)

The only thing I could recommend is to get a good conversion program that has a batch convert option, that way you can convert all your files in one shot and make things a little less time consuming.

Otherwise, try grabbing an special player that supports m4a (does quicktime?) or you could try finding a codec that will enable WMP or Winamp (or whatever you use) to play the format back as-is...if you're concerned about quality, don't bother converting, you never gain quality through conversion.
