Default Reminders out of control Outlook 2003

Whenever I open OL2003 I get over 100 reminders of appointments as well as emails that I never set up for notifications of any sort. I've tried the "CleanReminders Switch", it did not work.
Help please

Have you ever updated your outlook software at Office update? Could be a fix for this-- there are often many.

I'm sorry ...you ran it from a command prompt window ?
Start/all programs/ accessories/ command prompt-- then type in the switch.

If that does not work I beleieve your only option is to reinstall Office-- or whatever progarm you have outlook in -- something is corrupted.
I admit to not being an Outlook expert ....I did not use it long
