Lightbulb DVD.. no decoder

Ok..
I had asked about this some time ago, but there really aren't any freebie DVD decoders out there.. for those of us that can't pay for that, there is a solution. Now before anyone gets all into this, I hope that the security staff will check this out to. I have downloaded and am using VLC... it is a standalone program that is allowing me to use the DVD I have in this system, but without the decoders. VideoLAN - Free Software and Open Source video streaming solution for every OS! is where it can be found.
I have run everything I know for malware, adware, and viruses and so far.. nada.

So... check it, try it, if you wish, and I hope to hear from the great folks here soon, if I am wrong.

Nope, you're absolutely right. VLC is an excellent program - I have used it for years as I know others here have too

Good deal! I am glad to hear that Hengis! G'Day to you, btw! I had really hoped that I wasn't wrong about that!

VideoLan just keeps getting better. Brother Bill Gates says open source is bad for the industry. Well he has never used VLC...
