Wink [Resolved] Printer Question

I did not know what heading to put this under but I wanted to through it out there.

I have a Lexmark X75 All-in-one, and i have a HP Photosmart 420. I guess around the time I got the didgital camera, my Lexmark started to act funny, it would only work accassionally. the other day i was using the HP and my lexmark showed up without that X, so i was like hum stupid thing, Today i turned my HP on and the X came off right away(so that light bulb went off in my head), so i did a restart and the Lexmark had an X again so i turned the HP on. Why is this happening any ideas, is the HP interfering with the Lexmark, and can i fix this problem or do i have to turn my HP on everytime I want to use my Lexmark. I am stumped what could be causeing this.

This question can be maked as closed. I finally got an HP support tech that understood what I was talkign about and he told me I was having an IRQ conflict, duh, why did I no think about that. So all I need to do is move the HP to my Front USB port and hopefully it stops conflicting. he said that this is a common problem with certain operating systems so keep that in mind for future reference. Thanks

Glad to here you resolved your problem. You can also reassign IRQ and I/O addresses which may have been another option if the problem occurs again
