Default [Resolved] Word footer macro

I am tearing my hair out here. I have a Word template that I put a subject field macro in the footer. It worked great untill a few days ago it just stopped. When I use the same template (I copy pasted to another machine) it works fine. I am thinking it has to be something like a MS patch that I installed or a setting I mistakenly changed but I just can't find it. I am running Win XP and Word 2003 SP2.

Hello velvetini,

Welcome to PCHF.

I'm not sure how a patch would affect it. Does any other macro work? Can you attach the document here?

I just can't think of anything else. It is the subject /* merge in the footer

Hi Vel,

I'm really not grasping what is going on here, there is no subject field in the footer, nor are there any macro's attached to this document. This appears to be just a simple mail merge document?

How do you normally run this macro, and when you go to Tools, Macro, Macro's, what do you see listed here?
