Default [Answered] cant find SKU113.cab

outlook can receive messages but cannot send. so i tried the detect and repair it said it cannot find SKU113.cab insert disk. problem is it bought this IBM thinkpad with office 2003 basic edition pre loaded. in the past is would operate the detect and repair and no problems. i did a disc scan and that is the only thing i can think that may have removed this file. i have 2 other copies of office 2003 but they are different versions and do not have this cab on them. can you help?

Hi mac,

Sorry matey, you need the original sku113.cab file, which should have been provided as part of your recovery disks?

Nope! Well at least nothing I can tell you without breaking PCHF rules!!!

Have you considered installing Outlook from scratch?

You can use it from Office 2003 CD. When you install this, it gives you the option to install Outlook.

If you don't have the original CD, or IBM didn't provide you with one (they normally do), you can request for them to resend this CD to you, but they do charge for the cost of the CD itself, unless you claim that the CD didn't come with the package to begin with?
