Default [Resolved] Outlook 2000 auto reply sends blanks

I am trying to set up an automatic reply with the rules wizard. I made a template and can get Outlook to reply with it but the email it sends is always blank. Also is there a way to get the reply to come from other than my default email address? Thank you all in advance.

Mike

Hi Mike, welcome to the PCHF.

This kind of functionality is generally supported in office 2003, not sure about 2000 however.

You could just set an "Out of Office" message which would reply to all emails.

Default Problem Solved

I figured it out and of course the problem was operator error. I hope others can benefit from my having attended the school of hard knocks again.

The template that I was trying to reply with was HTML rather than plain text. Plain text is the key. I find it interesting that Outlook would allow me to save it as a template in HTML and then not be able to use it. I wonder if they got that worked out in later versions.
