I have downloaded the Office2003 Free Trial software several times, but I can never open or install it. I run XP Home. I have no other Office software on my computer. The current error message says "office.exe is not a valid system 32 application." Can someone help? Tell me what I'm doing wrong? Is there some other download I need to make this one work?Please reply here or to me directly if you have any advice. Thanks.

Can you please supply the link to the trial version of Office2003? I was unaware that there was a trial version. Also, office.exe is not part of MS Office. There should be outlook.exe, excel.exe etc etc
There is no 'office' software, but an office 'suite' of software.

That's the link I started with. It led me to the other one after I clicked on the download button and did their registration. What is system 32 anyway?

system 32 is the type of computer you have...

32 bit...they used to be 8bit, then 16 bit, 32 bit and 64bit is what we have now.
