Hi,

I have a file saved in publisher and would love to convert it to word. It is accually a wedding invitation design and when i try to open it with word, i get the message which says the opeeration is only valid for installed programs. I do not find any option to import or export to word. Would greatly appreciate your help.

In the File option click on the Save As option and select either a *.RTF format or one of the Word xxx *.doc formats of your choice

First get the trial of Adobe Acrobat 7.0 from here

With the PDF(Publisher) document open in Acrobat 7 Professional, choose File > Save As. In the Save As dialog box, choose Microsoft Word Document from the Format (Mac) or Type (Windows) pop-up menu. Then simply click the Save button, and open the document in Word .

Hope that works for you predator. Whilst on the subject does anyone know if there is a way to open publisher 2000 files on 2003?

Now i have tried the first method from Bugsey and found that only text appears and the design does not. I shall give a try to Upgrader764's suggestion and revert.
