Default outlook 2003 data file problem

Hi in outlook 2003 i had my main subfiles etc under the all folders list i then notice at the bottom their's a forder called michael@mjeffs.info which is one of my email address however i have removed the email address so it no longer in outlook when i right click on the forlder a list of open's come up if i click on close the forlder a errors messageing interface has returned an unknown error if i try to open the forder a error come's up the set of folder could not be opened and the same come up if i click on data file all i want to do is remove this forlder i have try the outlook repair tool etc but their is no sign of any folder to do with this.

Hi Ukcool,

Welcome to PC Help Forum! We have a great team here, who will no doubt be able to assist you.

If you right click on the folder, and select 'clear offline items' (even if you have none). This will prompt a warning about syncronizing which is yet to finish, but go ahead with it. It should hopefully allow you to delete it then. When you've done so, clear your deleted items folder - to permanantly get rid.

hi i dont seem to have that option and i have tried the close outlook data file and open etc all load an error as said above

Tools > email accounts > view or change existing emails accounts

Can you try the above, and see if it will let you remove it that way.

Can you try and delete any sub folders in that folder before trying to remove the main folder.

Hi the only sign of anything to do with the folder in the view or change existing email accounts the deliver new e-mail to the following location if i click on the down arrow it has michael@mjeffs.info but if i click it i get an error saying the store could not be opened and as removeing the sub folder i dont think their is any or i can not open the main one to see
