Hi will if i try to change the data store to michael@mjeffs.info the error is "the specified default store could not be opened. please make sure you can access you default store and try agian" i also tried to add a new file etc to the michael@mjeffs.info folder and and error say the set of folder could not be opened just come's up

Try this;

Go to Control Panel -> Mail -> Show Profiles - what profiles do you have listed in there?

hi it just shows the only profile is one called outlook

Highlight "Outlook" in that window and then look thru the properties. Check to see if that rogue folder is displayed anywhere and remove it. Make a backup (export) of your existing Outlook account before deleting anything.
