Default [Resolved] Microsoft Works Suite 2005 setup

I am having a WEIRD problem installing this program...

I have perfectly legit copies of both Win XP SP2 and Works suite-- when the installer launches there is no accept button in the EULA page. The support site says there is an issue when using large or extra large fonts-- I switched them back- stiill no good. I've tried EVERYTHING --including shutting down all programs except the very basics (no firewall/av/antitrojan running) The support site says you can bypass this issue by typing "control a" when the eula's on screen-- that does not work either.

I am at wits end -- what a stupid, frustrating thing-- can't even get the thing to install from CD-ROM.

I even downloaded and installe the latest Windows intaller pkg and reinstalled it just for giggles. No luck

Are you maybe using skinning software like Windowblinds , StyleXP ect. ? If yes , then sut that down temporarely to see if that helps.

And do you do see a checkbox with something like "i agrea with this blablabla.."?

I had window blinds a long time ago-- got rid of it --used too many resources for me...

I did, however get the installer to run, basically by getting frustrated and punding on the "control a" option until it suddenly worked. I had also restarted a couple of disabled services in "services.msc" just prior to the final attempt-- I'm not sure if it was one of those services, or just a dirty/sticky key in my keyboard.

I did get Works 2005 installed/updated-- so I'm all set
