Question Outlook, popwho? SMTP?

Hello all,
I appologize for missing any formalities, but some research pointed me to this forum-- I hope it is correct.

OK, I am a dummy-- I'm trying to get outlook express (version 2003 if it matters) to work with an account I have with mail.com (where my e-mail address is actually @teacher.com) I know I have to get my pop3 and smtp stuff, but have no clue how to do this. I get the error that says that it connected with isp but no answer was given (because I have NO clue what my pop3 or smtp is).

I appologize ahead of time for being a dummy, and would really really really appreciate any and all help available.

thank you all for your time and assistance

Wow, sorry no one has replied to you in all this time

Welcome to the forum and...you're certainly not a dummy - did you already try;
pop.mail.com
smtp.mail.com

OR

pop.teacher.com
smtp.teacher.com
