alright here is my problem. i am struggling tryign to open a publisher doc made in 2000. im trying to open it in 2003. any ideas how to get this to work? if someone would like to make this work that would be great!

Is it a large file that you're trying to open? Because to open a 2000 document in 2003, Pub2003 has to convert it into the correct format. Doing this uses your virtual memory. If your computers virtual memory is not at least twice the size required - it aint gonna happen... If this is the problem, let me know.

alright i change VM up to 74Mb-85mb the file still wont open. any other thoughts? could you open it for me and just send me the 2003 doc?

How big a file are we talking here? Sure, i've got no problems doing that for you. Will be later though - after I finish work.

Got your file and am having similar problems with it. Have you got Norton installed on your PC? If you have, that's what'll be causing the problem. I'm assuming that's why I can't open it either (I haven't got Norton).

If you have, you may need to drop Norton for AVG and try the file again.

Have you still got Publisher 2000 (or access to it)?
