Hi every 1 , A friend of mine is having trouble with outlook! when he is trying to enter a contacts email into the address bar but when he clicks on "to" the select names box appears but it is empty, he has tried right clicking contacts on the main screen properties and ticking the box marked "show this folder as an email address book" but still no contact
Any suggestions would be great

Hi Dave, this is gonna sound really "off the cuff" but I assure you it's the best thing to try first.

Un-install and re-install the Outlook part of MS Office. There could be some corruption in the program.

He got it sorted, he had empty address being used (not to sure what he meant by that) but when he deleted them he could see his address book?????
Confused me but least he is sorted now.
