Default Mapping Disk Failure

I have two PCs that used to see each other (both connected to a router). Both are running XP SP2. I had to take one machine out to be fixed (call it pc#1) and when I brought it back it is able to map the disk drive of the other machine (call it PC#2). However, PC#2 sees PC#1 and its disk drive. But when I tell it to map the disk drive I get an error message

"The mapped network drive could not be created because the following has occured: Not enough server storage is available to process this command"

As PC#2 was able to see it before, it should be able to now. Can anyone help with this? Does anyone know what is causing this message?

They are both in the same workgroup
I'll appreciate all help and suggestions. Thank you
