Default Can't Connect toWireless Network.

About 3 or 4 days ago I was just browsing the web and my internet gave in. I refreshed my network page and try to connect. I hit connect and I get this

NOTE:it stays at "waiting for the network" then cancels

Now I called my IPS (Optiumonline) and they ran me through some tests and told me to call my router company (dLink) so I did and I spent 2 1/2 hours on the phone with them. I tried to update my firmware but it did not work so they told me to downgrade it to a early version and leave it. I tried adding WEP WPA ect and tried connecting no luck. I tried adding MAC Adress no luck. I tried removing all my Listed networks. I tried Uninstalling and Reinstalling my wireless adapter no luck either. I also did the routine unplug router and modem restart computer ect...

Here my info
ISP= Optonline
Modem= Motorola SB4100
Router= Dlink 4300
MSI wireless Lan Card
Window XP Pro SP3
Nortan Anti Virus
Windows Firewall

**Note That I am posting this on my Labtop that gets wireless internet**
I've also physcially brought my desktop to my router and Modem and pluged it in through just the modem and got internet and pluged it in through the router with a wire and got internet
If I need I can post a screen shot of my IPCONFIG or any other tests.

If you can post ipconfig /all that would help. The image is showing that the network is unsecured is that correct? Back to basics remove wep /wap and anything else from the router and disable mac address filtering also set the SID on the router to workgroup. reboot router and try again. Can you see any other networks when you browse for a wireless network?

Ensure that your pc isnt trying to connect as wep or anything else as it sometimes remembers how you used to connect(that why we change the sid).

How do you connect you normally have 2 ways windows or a util that comes with you network card, use the one supplied
