Default Remote Desktop Help...Unable To Connect

The ports I have open are Remote Desktop, HTTPS and another port for Remote Desktop which is not Port 80 (for security reasons).

I know they are all open and operational because Dyndns.com's open port tool has confirmed it.

I can connect via Remote Desktop to the PC in my network (the one I'm on) through Computer Name and local IP.

The problem however is when I type in the TRUE IP and port number eg 1.1.1.1:9999 I get a 'Unable To Connect' error. I get the same message using the hostname I have registered at dydndns for this PC.

Does anyone know what the issue is?

Using local IP: port in a web browser I get the following error message:

error '8002801c' Error accessing the OLE registry.
/iisHelp/common/500-100.asp, line 17

Not sure what that means. I would like to be able to connect to this PC remotely, from an external IP on an external network.

Thanks

Thanks.

Well I'm outside the network now and I get a error of 'connection timed out pleas try again later' when trying to connect to my remote PC at home. If anyone knows how to fix it.

I just tried to connect through a browser to my remote PC and it said Under Construction...this site may not have a default page yet. Am I doing something wrong?

Logmein looks good actually. Since this is the PC I want to connect to (work). Does it work from behind a firewall? I don't have access to the router at work.

WOW. Thanks!

That was so easy. Browsing is a little bit slow and the site is quite hard to navigate but it WORKS

Do you know if there's a limit to how many identical users can be connected? eg I have one account but there could be two or three users connected at the same time.
