Network Help - Connecting to School Netword over the internet posted in the Web & Networking forums; I heard one of my teachers saying that you can connect to our school's network over the internet. But I don't know where to start on finding it.... Any advice?...

Default Connecting to School Netword over the internet
I heard one of my teachers saying that you can connect to our school's network over the internet. But I don't know where to start on finding it.... Any advice?

They could have set up access in a number of ways. Without know which way it's set up, we won't be able to help you.

So, ask at school and find out how you're supposed to connect

They don't want students to know how to get on it... I don't know why, but they don't. I'd say they set it up over the county domain bcps.k12.va.us .
I thought I might be able to access it through an ftp client. Since the network name is ' lbdata ' the password we use for all the computers are username pass But it wouldn't let me see any of the files...

They do now want students to join there network.

There for without the school,s permission you cannot logon to there network.

I am sorry we are unable to help with this issue.
