I am sorry if this is not in the right section, but I could not think of another section that this would really fit.

I live in Europe and I want to watch Hulu.com, which makes me use Hotspot Shield to alter my IP as Hulu doesn't allow outsiders to watch their shows.

I also have a PS3 and just yersterday I discovered the wonders of Media Servers. It's nice to be able to play the files from my PC on my PS3. I also discovered that you can use PlayOn to show shows from hulu, ESPN, NBC and Netflix, but alas, it says on my ps3 when I enter PlayOn that it's not available outside the U.S. (which I knew)
What I thought though is, that if I had Hotspot Shield installed, PlayOn could still let me watch hulu on the PS3.
What determins whether or not I can watch the shows? The PC it's coming from with the fake U.S IP address or the PS3, which will have it's own European IP address (I assume)

Does this make any sense?

Sorry man, at the moment while Hulu is trying to get global coverage, they are not available where you are, because they don't have the licensing. So, unfortunately, working on a way around this for you would constitute breaking the law.

I am sure that there is something you can do to help expedite the process that Hulu is currently going through, to get licensing where you are at. I would suggest contacting Hulu and asking who in your country would be the person to write a letter to, in order to expedite the licensing.

Please post back with any informatin that they give you, perhaps you could start a letter writing campaign in your area.
