Hello

I have a network problem that is I can only connect to the internet or be able to see my network printer but not both, I have 2 connections one is 1394 network adapter and the other is local area connection (intel) both are enabled with the tcp/ip address set to obtain an address automatic, I can now connect to the internet but not my printer but if I enter the address 192.168.1.3 I can ping my printer at 192.168.1.14 but not connect to the internet, it started after re-connecting my laptop to the network after a hard disk failure any ideas

So the laptop, had to have the HDD wiped, reloeaded, or replaced, and then you hooked it up to the two systems exactly as they had been before, correct?

Are there other PCs connected to the internet through this network adapter? Can you please go to Start, Run, and type cmd, then hit Enter, at the command prompt, can you please type in IPCONFIG /all, and post back with that information?
