I have a LAN network wit internet access to all workstations through internet connection sharing. I would want to scan all workstations connected to the said network for virus, Trojans, worms etc sitting on the server. I would also want to update latest virus definitions from the server itself. But the problem is that i do not know the anti virus suites, softwares & configurations required for doing the same. Please let me know how i can do it. I shall be grateful for all your help.

I suggest you contact the AV software companies.
They can give you a cost analysis and tell you how to do it.
