Default The Network adapter does not have a valid IP configuration
I have my Xbox 360 connected directly to my computer (via the included ethernet cable) which is connected wirelessly to my home network (with an extremely shaky connection, but this problem occurs even when it does work.)

I used to be able to connect to Xbox Live, but now I can't (the test shows that the console's IP is not valid.)

I've tried resetting the network adapter and installing new software for it, but it doesn't seem to help. What am I doing wrong?
