Default Configuring router/switch IP

Hey all, its been a while!
Anyhow, my family recently had a new type of internet installed at my house. It's a type of wireless where there is an antenna about two miles away, and we have an antenna of our own. These two antennas connect and thus, The Internet. I can't hook up more than one computer to the internet at one time and I asked the support. They say to configure my router IP....How exactly do I do this?
The internet service uses a little thing that looks like a line splitter, the cable from the antenna plus into one side (in), and the cable to the computer plugs in the other (out). I've tried hooking up my Linksys broadband router and another switch I have, but they must be configured.

Thanks

Actually Hengis,
Since I'm impatient and started dinking with stuff on my own, I messed up the whole thing XD. Now the computer will not connect to the router thing at all. It just says "Limited or no Connectivity."
[EDIT: Now it says it is connected, as if it were. I open up IE and it still gives me a "Cannot display website."]
I went to network settings and clicked on something that I'm not sure what it was.....I opened the connection settings, clicked on the "Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) thing, and I think I clicked "Obtain an IP address automatically."

Now when I use ipconfig in cmd prompt it gives me an IP which is different than before, the same subnet mask, and then there is no Default Gateway.

This is XP by the way.
Any ideas?
