Default network report (nescot)

A network can benefit your company in many different ways. In this report I will tell you about most of these benefits.
One of the benefits is it increases employee productivity as everyone in your company is connected it becomes easier for people to contact each other and to send information and ideas. This also means there are less meeting and people can communicate without having to leave their work station.
A network also allows you to share file, documents and hardware easier. You can send files and important documents quickly to another computer through the network. The network also cuts down on the amount of money the company spends on hardware such as printers and scanners as through a network multiple computers can be connected to one printer and scanner.
From a network, resources become easier to access through a remote connection this means you can access files and documents from any computer that is connected.

Advantages and Disadvantages of a Network
Below is a short list with a few examples of the disadvantages and the advantages of networking all the computers together
Disadvantages:
The disadvantages of a network are
  • You would have to have some one dedicated to looking after the network and to make sure it is running
  • If a virus gets into a network some how it will infect the hole network
  • If a network stops working properly you may not be able to access various computers
  • It is difficult to defend from hackers and other internet dangers
  • A fault in the network can cause some unsaved data to be lost
  • A fault in the network may cause some application to not run properly or not at all

Advantages
The advantages of a network are
