Default [Answered] LAN client

Hi,

im a customer of a ADSL company that gives out "routers+modem" which they have blocked all the router features. They have reprogrammed the software for a original "normal" router. Due to a lot of people calling em' on the support about the router feauteres. They "took em' away".
This means I cant open ports, i have no control at all.

But do not misstrust. i found a way to get into the original "router page" and imma jsut about to try open the ports for a program.

B4 when i klick port forwarding i get directed to this page:

So my question is kina, what is LAN client. And what should i put into those empty boxes?
'
Ediyt, i know this is a kinda simple question though. but im desperate!

regards
azzzutr

Default Re: LAN client

Hey Azur, very confused about what your trying to do there, port forwarding and opening ports are two seperate entities, however a LAN client is basically your PC's network connection, which you'll see is already listed there at the bottom of that page. IP Address: 192.168.1.2, Hostname: Azur (Dynamic).

EDIT: Marked as Answered.
