Smile [Resolved] How do I create a bootable CD using the latest Nero software?

I recently purchased a new Hard Drive, 500gb. However my Windows XP CD is pre-service pack so the max it can partition is 127gb which is very annoying. What I need to do is create a slipstream Windows XP SP2 CD. I have all the files and I've merged in the Service pack. I downloaded the nero trial and I assume it's the latest version, however all the tutorials are for older versions of Nero which I can't get a licence for and there is no clear way to create a boot CD.

PS. My BIOS recognises that the drive is 500gb so it has to be the old service pack problem.

ALSO: I still have my current hard drive in the PC which is running SP2, I used that to go into Disk Management and found the 300gb+ of unassigned space for the new drive. Is there any way I could create a partition on this space AND THEN MERGE the two? it would save me the trouble of creating this boot CD.

thanks

Hi,

I've been trying to follow that guide and similar guides, but the version of Nero I have is so much different. : /

I tried downloading previous versions of Nero on OldVersion.com but all were Demos which expired as soon as they were installed.

Alcohol 120% - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Active ISO Burner - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Easy DVD/CD Burner - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

Power ISO Maker - Free software downloads and reviews - CNET Download.com

I use the first one.

Try also Cyberlink website.

Hi.

I managed to figure it out using the latest Nero but thanks anyway. I have another problem now so could you move this thread to Networking help?

I installed windows with my slipstream XP sp2 CD and installed all drivers. (motherboard, video card and wireless card) However I can't figure out how to connect to the router downstairs, there is no "search for wireless connection" option that I can see and when I mouse over the WLAN icon in the taskbar, it says no card found.

Just an update:

When I uninstall the card, the LAN network option disappears. When i re-install, only LAN Network will be shown. There is no way for me to search for a wireless network. I don't know what to do.
