Welcome to PC Help Forum
The best solution to this problem is to set your internet router to DHCP and then set all PC's that connect to it to "Obtain an IP address Automatically". By doing this your router will dish out addresses to the PC's and you won't get duplicates. If you need help doing this, give us loads of info about your networking equipment and PC and we'll be happy to help
