Question Router acting up?

For the past few days when I'm in any game that requires an internet connection I freeze (lag) every so often (about once every 2-4 minutes) for a few seconds. Then, when it stops, I'm dead. It's really starting to vex me.

Could this be an issue with my router? I'm running a wired LinkSys if that helps any.

Thank you.

Check to make sure that your game is on the windows firewall exceptions list, also you can try forwarding your ports for the game on the router, if you don't know how to forward ports please let me know the model number to the router and ill walk you through it

sadly the NH1005 is a hub so there is no way to forward ports on it...how exactly is your network set up
