Default Belkin G+ Mimo Help.

hmm..

Well.. i've had the Belkin G+ mimo router for about 1 year now.. and i decided to plug my xbox 360 ethernet cable directly to the modem (disconnecting the router ofcourse).

After taking out the ethernet cable, and replacing it after playing xbox, my router now only seems to be able to connect to 1 system at a time.

Eg. PC or Xbox

we have about 4 PC's in the house, and it's F***d everything up, seeing as only 1 person can use the internet at a time..

COULD ANYONE HELP ME ? I HAVE TRIED TO RESET THE ROUTER, UNPLUG IT, LEAVE IT OFF ETC..

NO LUCK

Help apreciated.

Chris.

PS. when i tried to 'repair' the connection it tells me 'Limited or no connectivity' and 'unable to renew IP address'.

hey, thanks for the links, i should have been more specific when i explained it.

When the xbox is connected to the router and the router is connected to the modem it works fine for only 1 system at a time, basically, whoever's computer connects to the router first gets access, the other computers + xbox dont' seem to work after one is connected, it gives those 3 computers the 'limited or no connectivity' and the xbox just refuses to connect to xbox live, regardless of the fact that the xbox is connected by wire.

it kinda defeats the purpose of the router, 'cause it gives access to one computer at a time..

help apreciated

Chris.

Hi is your XBOX eithernet lead pluged into one of the ports numbered 1,2,3or 4 on the belkin?

Have you allowed access for XBOX via firewall?

Did you read all the troubleshoot and how to links I posted?

Disable firewall and security settings for now and see if XBOX can connec t that way?

Thanks, but the problem isn't in the xbox, it's with the router. i can only receive internet on 1 system at a time, be it PC or XBOX.
