Default Sudden Router Issue.

Around Christmas I purchased a Nintendo Wii and out of the box it connected to my wireless router just fine. No problems, fast smooth connection... found the signal in about 3 seconds. But a few days ago I attempted to play a game online and kept getting the no internet error. I rebooted the console, my internet, and my router. Then I went into the settings and attempted to find my wireless access point but it was to no avail...nothing, just "no access point found". Nothing has changed on the computer, the router or the Wii.

Hello and welcome to PC Help Forum.

Could you check in device manager and see if the network cards are there?Or do you see other devices with a yellow symbol listed there?

click start scroll to my computer and right click on my computer go to properties and open, click on hardware tab then device manager.

Check aslo if there are any yellow symbols when you open network adaptors?

Also you can right click on the items listed and scan for hardware chnages.

If you have items with yellow symbols they need updated drivers.

To update right click on each and click on update drivers.
