Thumbs up [Resolved]limited or no connectivity wireless problem

hi there
i helped a friend install a belkin wireless router
his pc is far apart from his NTL router so we got this router to have his main pc wireless!!!
still with me?
after installing everything we enjoyed browsing the web wirelessly for a couple of days
today we cant get online
the taskbar symbol shows that signal strength is excellent but we have limited or no connectivity
how do we resolve this as its drivin me mad??!
and i am im the middle of a biddin war on ebay!!!

Ok firstly NTL do not support wireless routers although they sell them,ie Virgin media.
Mobile fones and cordless fones can drop the connections,move them away.
Have you tried to repair the connection,clear cache.
Update drives for wirless network card.
The modem is connected to the wirless router by cable?
Try turning modem off and wait 1 min then turn back on.

many thanks on this issue
when i went back to his house i simply unplugged everything and restarted the modem first then the router
this seems to have fixed the problem so fingers crossed!!

The router and wirerless needs to always turned on before the computer so it can pick up the connections.
