If your connected via ethernet, then you don't really require these drivers. You can normally access your router page from Internet Explorer, address is normally 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.1. (username and password for the router is normally required, sometimes found on the back of the router itself). From this point, all you really need is your ISP settings.
Unfortunately it's a USB connection, so I need to install drivers for XP. I assume I can get away with simply copying the driver file supplied on the link above to the PC? But, where do I need to drop it? And would that be enough for me to get it up and running? I guess I'd just have to set up a network connection manually?

(BTW thanks to you all for all your suggestions. That's what's great about this forum. So many helpful people and incredibly fast replies.)

The driver zip file is just a bunch of .sys files, not executables. Can I dump these somewhere in order to get XP to recognise the router? (Please forgive my ignorance)

There's the option on the site to order a replacement CD free of charge. Just have to pay postage costs of £3.00!!!! £3.00??? What part of free don't they understand? Since when does it cost that much to post a bloody CD?

Anyway, I was kind of hoping that I could get it sorted tomorrow when I get to the office, so I would prefer not to wait for a CD in the post.

Ok have you tried connecting it and see if found new hardware picks it up on a rebbot and install drives from the saved folder?

Yep, jelly bean is right, it's not just .sys files in that folder, but also .cat and .inf files. the .inf files are what the "Found New Hardware" wizard is looking for.

After downloading, open up the zip archive and copy the files there. Place them into a new folder somewhere you will remember (thus extracting the files from the archive). When this wizard appears (when starting your PC or when connecting the USB cable), click "Install from a list or specific location (advanced)", and then point to the folder you have extracted these files to, and it will pickup your drivers from there.

Thanks guys. I'll be heading off to the office soon and will do as you say. Hopefully all will go OK.

Thanks again. You're legends!
