After successfully setting up a small wireless home network through windows, and adding the printer connected to the main computor to the network I have now discovered that when you print from the remote computor over the network, the text comes out inverted. When you read the text from the other side of the page while holding it up to the light it looks normal, as if you wanted to print onto one side of a pane of glass and read it from the other side.

This happens when you print from any application such as word or notepad, but prints a test page out ok. I have checked all basic settings.
If anyone has any ideas of how to fix this problem I would greatly appreciate it, thanks.

We will need more information from you please;

Make and model of printer
Network equipment make and models
Windows version
Anything else you feel may be important.

The printer is an HP officejet 6100.
The router is a BT home hub 1802.
The remote PC is running windows XP home version 2002 and the main PC which the printer goes through is running XP pro.

It also inverts images too, not just text.

What happens if you connect the printer directly to a PC?

It prints normally.
