Hiya JellyBean...

I'm afraid that re-installing any software is impossible. I access the router's panel through an IP address that I enter into Internet Explorer. I never had to use a disk to install the router.

To use browser to open web pages via ip adress you also need the wep key wich is maybe a mix of numbers and letters or just numbers or just letters.
Was this idea of using ip adress to gain access to internet passowrded/encrypted,wich could be a name or again letters and numbers.
Was user name and password setup when you origonaly setup the internet?

Hey, I enter an IP address to enter a configuration panel. I have a WEP key. I set it up myself and it was working for a while. Hope you can help.

Welcome back,you know hengis posted the cmd?

Could you try this for me as I want to know the results.

Start > run > type cmd (and hit enter) > in the black box, type ipconfig hit enter.then I want you to type ping yahoo.com hit enter and tell me the results.thats type in ping then a space then yahoo.com hit enter.

What is your ISP?

Belkin : Support : Frequent wireless disconnections from the router/AP (Access Point).

Hey Jellybean.

I have a local ISP. I have tried pinging Yahoo.com. I get an answer back from the IP but I get nothing for the DNS. It says all DNS call backs have been failed.

And I have been all over the support websites... no luck.

I Can Fix This  I Need Help
