Default [Fixed] Lan Issues

Hi once again all,

i have been messing about with a router which i thought i could hack to use with a different isp (didnt have a clue what i was doing but was getting annoyed so i give it a go anyway!)

after messing around with it for hours i gave up and out the window it went,however....

When i went to go on the xbox using ethernet cable later it says it cant verify my ip address so i tried connecting using the laptop (which should also connect straight away) and no luck.

My pc is saying there is limited or no connectivity and when i click repair it says it could not complete "renewing my ip address"

Please Please does someone have an answer!

Matty.

Why not try a factory reset of the router - then re-enter your ADSL details (if it is an ADSL modem). Make sure you have DHCP switched ON in the router and also optain IP address automatically on the PC and laptop.
