Default voyager router

hi,

i got given a bt voyager 205 router and ive seen online that you can hack them to make them work with other isp but the first thing i have to do is go to the router set up page which i cannot do for the life of me!

http://192.168.1.1

ive tried to connect to similar as well but im getting page cannot be displayed and so on.

Can anyone connect to this?

Do i have to be connected through the router to get here?

I heard something about security settings and stuff through my browser???

any help would save my router from being lobbed out the window!

many thanks

Matty

Is an internal IP address, so you need to connect to it when your PC is connected to the router
