I use a 3com wireless adsl router which i have my desktop and xbox 360 connected via ethernet and my laptop wireless, every now and then i would get randomly disconnected from xbox live and messenger and when i checked the router the sync and online lights were off then came back on a moment later and everything was fine, it can be reeeeeaaaaalllllly frustrating when im in the middle of an online game and it cuts off. im with BT broadband and they say its not their fault must be the router but they say that no matter what the problem is.
I dont want to spend on a new router incase mine is fine does anybody have any ideas?

What is the exact model number of your 3Com router? A firmware update will probably help this issue.

im not too sure it just says "office connect 3com adsl wireless 11g firewall router" i think i may have updated the firmware a while back, i cant rememeber.

Hi, firstly, update the firmware here (click agree twice) : 3Com Downloads
...then test and report back.

thanks for the help, i just updated and it will be a while before i can let yuo know if it has worked as it only cuts out from time to time,
