My husband needed his MSN password for his account. Having forgotten it, he went thru the usual "We will send e-mail with your password". Instead, MSN sent him a NEW password, all numbers. He hates it, but doesn't know how to get his origional password.

If you go to your MSN or Hotmail account, and click options -> setting, there is an option to change your password there

If you get your husband to log in here https://account.live.com/summarypage.aspx?mkt=en-gb
Then from there you should see the heading 'Password reset information'
It should give you the option to change password and from here you simply retype your current password and then you can type in a new one.

Thanks so much, but that doesn't help. He can't remember the CURRENT password! We both appreciate your attempt though.
