Default [Resolved] Can't connect to secure sites

I am using a HP PAvilion Notebook running winxp pro/sp2...hooked to Road Runner through a Linksys WTG54G wireless router...This sytem has been working fine for a couple of years...

I hooked a SlingBox to a Time Warner box and TIVO and my nephew is picking it up in Yemen..working fine...But to get it to work I had to program my Linksys to port forwarding to Port 443...ever since I changed that I can not connect to any "secured site" tells me it can not read .http port 80...https port443 and ftp port 21...

I contacted Road Runner and they walked me though a lot of stuff resetting security etc..and gave me a microsoft web site and I have done what it ask...still nothing...

Linksys has been no help...reset router...

I am a real novice so any help will be appreciated...

Looks like I was able to solve my own problem...I just got the idea to try and reset everything...I unpluged cable box...modem and router...left them off for a few minutes and when I rebooted everyting was back to normal...

Thanks;
Hefs
